Today we went over the chapter 8 and 9 vocabulary. Since there were a lot of people who didn't finish, they were sent outside to complete the homework. The vocabulary questions we worked on were mainly defining the meaning in the statement. This skill can benefit greatly by translating normal conversations with slang into words most people would understand. These skills will help in the future during job interviews;instead of using the normal slang people are used to, they can speak normally on a format most people know. The reason why we checked over the questions was because people would know the answers to the questions on the quiz. Homework We have to finish chapters 9 to 12 by Wednesday, and the people who haven't brought in the money for adopt a family still has to gve it to the teacher. I think that is it.
